Welcome to Year 5 Summer Term 2 2024!

Dear Parents, Carers and Pupils,

Welcome back.  We hope you had a restful break!

This term, our main topics are: Geography - What is life like in the Alps, Art - Painting and Mixed Media: Portraits and Design & Technology - Cooking and Nutrition: Developing a recipe.  

In English, we will be writing a balanced argument using the book Window by Jeannie Baker as inspiration.

In maths, we continue decimals, followed by negative numbers and converting units.

You can find details of homework on the relevant page under 'In this section'.  

PE days continue to be Tuesdays - please ensure that your child has the correct, named school PE kit on these days. 

Thursdays will be your child's swimming day - please ensure they have the correct kit for that day.
